Very interesting subject Imagine the impact on society if our schools encouraged children to listen to the wisdom in their bodies and taught them techniques for developing this capacity that is so much more accessible to children. What would the impact be in the political realm if people could sense when a politician was speaking from his heart and when she was coming from a hidden agenda? What would the impact be on our diets if people were more in tune with their bodies would they really want to drink coca-cola? And as susanna and Alpha discussed would people feel the need to buy so much excess stuff if they were experiencing life from a deep awareness of their beingness...I think not. This approach should be the cornerstone of all social/political/economic/educational reform...feel before you speak!

I think the most interesting theme of somatics is how these concepts would be learn by other cultures and social levels. Somatics conscience would change people concept about how life would be better.
